Master Technician Only
Every Royal Power Tuneup is performed personally by our principal master technician — never delegated to apprentices, never to a rotating shop floor. The same hands, the same eyes, the same standard, on every vehicle that crosses our threshold. Your key is never passed sideways.
30+ years on European, Japanese & luxury marques
ii.
UK Independent Lab Verification
Pre-service and post-service oil samples are couriered to an independent UK laboratory. You receive a certified report quantifying — in measurable parts-per-million — exactly how your engine's performance changed. We don't ask you to take our word for it.
Reports delivered within 14 working days
iii.
No-Cure-No-Pay Guarantee
If the post-service emissions and dynamometer tests fail to show measurable improvement under our published thresholds, the labour portion of your Tuneup is waived. We bear the risk so you don't — and the full terms are published openly, including a separate 10,000 km Royal Assurance Programme that re-tests your engine at no charge.
The Royal Power Tuneup uses DM-X 200™, the same proprietary hydrocarbon chemistry that DM-XTech engineered to reduce contrail formation in jet aviation — independently validated by the Translational Energy Research Centre at the University of Sheffield, where it achieved a 98.4% reduction in soot mass on a Honeywell APU test rig.
That same chemistry, applied directly to your engine's intake, combustion chamber, and fuel system, dissolves the carbon deposits that quietly throttle your power, your economy, and your emissions — restoring combustion to OEM-spec performance from the inside out.

~200 kgper vehicle / year
Estimated annual CO₂ reduction per restored vehicle.
Based on a conservative 5% fuel-economy improvement at 18,000 km / year. Your individual reduction is recorded in the Royal Service Dossier as your contribution to the DM-XTech Climate Programme.
IV · The Method
Five phases. Nothing improvised.
The Royal Power Tuneup is a sequenced, instrumented protocol — diagnostics first, restoration second, verification by accredited third parties, and assurance for 10,000 km after you drive away.
A
Diagnostic Audit
Establishing the truthful baseline.
General engine & chassis inspection. Visual and tactile inspection by the master technician — leaks, mounts, belts, hoses, thermal patterns.
OBD diagnostic scan. Live and stored fault codes pulled from every accessible ECU — engine, transmission, ABS, body.
Baseline emissions test. Conducted at an LTO-accredited emissions testing centre — HC, CO, NOx recorded as your starting line.
Baseline dynamometer test. Conducted at an accredited dynamometer testing centre — wheel horsepower and torque curve recorded as your starting line.
B
Repairs Quote — if required, optional
Honest disclosure before any restoration begins.
Separate, itemised quotation. If diagnostics reveal mechanical faults outside the Tuneup scope — a worn turbo, a failing injector, a leaking gasket — we present a written quotation. Repairs are not bundled into the Tuneup price; you decide whether to proceed, and they are billed separately at transparent rates.
C
The Royal Power Tuneup
The five-part restoration protocol.
Engine, transmission & gear oil change. Three lubrication systems serviced together — drained, flushed, refilled with manufacturer-grade oils matched to your marque.
Engine calibration & conditioning. Idle, fuel trims, and timing parameters verified against OEM specification. ECU adaptive values reset where required.
Upper cylinder cleaning. Piston-top decarbonisation, full fuel-injector system cleaning, and injector spray-pattern adjustment using DM-X chemistry — the same hydrocarbon technology validated by the University of Sheffield.
Filter replacement & turbo cleanup. Engine oil filter and air filter replaced; turbocharger compressor and intake tract cleaned where applicable.
Tuneup & conditioning proper. Final tuning pass — combustion stability, throttle response, emissions readiness, road-test verification by the master technician.
D
Verification
Same instruments. Independent measurement. No-cure-no-pay.
Post-service emissions and dynamometer re-tests at the same accredited facilities used for the baseline — typically within seven days. The before-and-after comparison is the binding basis of our No-Cure-No-Pay Guarantee: if your engine fails to show measurable improvement under the published thresholds, the labour portion of the Tuneup is waived.
E
Royal Assurance Programme
Ten thousand kilometres of accountability — at no cost to you.
10,000 km oil analysis. Approximately 10,000 km after your Tuneup, we extract a sample of your engine oil and ship it to an independent UK-accredited tribology laboratory. Detailed results arrive within 5–10 days via your private dashboard. If the laboratory determines the oil has degraded ahead of expected interval, we change your engine oil and filter at no cost to you.
10,000 km power verification. Re-test on the same accredited dynamometer used for your initial service. If your engine shows a measurable power loss attributable to factors within the original Tuneup scope, we restore the lost performance at no cost to you.

The lab report alone justified the cost. I'd never seen actual ppm numbers for my engine before — only a service rep's promise that it 'felt better'.

Booked entirely over WhatsApp on a Sunday evening. The Royal Service Dossier arrived bound the following week — chemistry batch, oil analysis, technician's worksheet, all of it. Service-day handover was the tidiest I've experienced in 20 years of car ownership.

No-Cure-No-Pay sounded like marketing until I read the contract. It's binding. That changed how I felt about handing over the key.

The on-site service takes 4–6 hours depending on your vehicle's tier. Same-day pickup is standard. The certified UK lab report follows within 14 working days — that arrives separately to your email.
You don't pay. Your 20% deposit is refunded in full to the same payment method within five working days of the report's issue date. This is contractual, not goodwill.
Yes. The Royal Power Tuneup uses approved chemistries and procedures that do not void manufacturer warranties for any of the vehicles on our tier list. We provide a written compatibility statement before service begins.
DM-X 200™ is a pure-hydrocarbon formulation developed by DM-XTech (UK) and validated at the Translational Energy Research Centre, University of Sheffield. It is a fuel-system-grade chemistry — not a solvent and not a detergent — and has been independently tested on diesel and aviation engines without adverse effects. Compatible with all vehicles on our tier list; written confirmation provided before service.
In most cases, yes — but the concierge will ask a few additional questions during the initial WhatsApp consult. Some aggressive aftermarket tunes require a brief diagnostic before we can quote firmly.
GCash, Maya, all major credit cards, and bank transfer. The 20% deposit may use any method; the balance is due on service day and follows the same options.
The Royal Power Tuneup is backed by two distinct, separately-triggered guarantees. Both are operative from the moment your service is completed; both have specific eligibility windows and exclusions, set out in full below to ensure clarity for you and accountability for us.
1 The Royal No-Cure-No-Pay Guarantee
If your engine does not show measurable improvement under our published thresholds, the labour portion of the Tuneup is waived.
How "measurable improvement" is defined
Pre-service and post-service measurements are taken at the same LTO-accredited emissions testing centre and the same accredited dynamometer testing centre, within seven (7) days of one another. Improvement qualifies if either of the following is satisfied:
Emissions improvement: a measurable reduction of at least 10% in Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), or Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) from baseline — or a re-classification into a cleaner emissions band.
Power improvement: a measurable increase of at least 3% in peak wheel horsepower or peak torque from baseline — or a documented flatter, smoother power curve from the dynamometer operator.
Most engines improve on both metrics; older diesels often improve more on emissions, lightly-tuned petrol engines often improve more on power. Either alone is sufficient to qualify.
If your engine is already optimal
Some engines — particularly low-mileage, well-maintained vehicles — show no meaningful baseline opportunity. After Phase A diagnostics, if our tests indicate your engine is already operating at or near peak condition, we will inform you in writing, refund 100% of your Diagnostic Audit fee, and decline the Tuneup. You drive away knowing your engine is healthy — and you owe us nothing further.
Operating conditions for the verification tests
Same accredited facility for both baseline and post-service tests.
Same fuel grade and brand for both tests (supplied at our cost).
Engine oil temperature within the same operating window for both tests.
No third-party modifications, ECU re-flashing, or chip-tuning between the two tests.
All five sub-services of Phase C completed — partial-service customers are not eligible.
2 The Royal Assurance Programme — 10,000 km
Approximately 10,000 km after your Tuneup, we invite you back at no charge for two checks: a UK laboratory oil analysis and a dynamometer power verification. If either reveals a covered failure, the remediation is performed at no cost to you.
Eligibility — your vehicle qualifies if
The verification visit takes place between 8,000 km and 12,000 km after your Tuneup.
The visit takes place within 12 calendar months of your Tuneup, whichever comes first.
The vehicle returns to the PurePowerDrive facility for sampling and testing — we control chain of custody.
The VIN matches the vehicle that received the original Tuneup.
No other facility has serviced or added oil to the vehicle since the Tuneup (a complete service log will be reviewed at intake).
The vehicle has not been modified — engine remap, intake or exhaust modifications, chip-tuning, forced-induction changes — since the Tuneup.
Oil-change guarantee — exclusions
Free engine oil and filter replacement is not covered when oil failure is attributable to:
External contamination — coolant ingress (head-gasket failure), fuel dilution beyond normal range (failed injector), water ingress from flooding or deep wading.
Use of a fuel grade lower than the manufacturer's specification (verifiable via residual fuel sample).
Track use, motorsport, or sustained high-RPM operation (verifiable via ECU over-rev logs).
Extended idle storage causing oil oxidation.
Power-restoration guarantee — exclusions
Free power restoration is not covered when power loss is attributable to:
Mechanical wear or failure outside the Tuneup scope — turbocharger bearing wear, valve guide wear, ring or cylinder wear, timing chain stretch.
External damage — accident, water ingress, foreign-object ingestion, contaminated fuel from external sources.
Customer-skipped manufacturer-recommended interim maintenance items (e.g., spark plug change at the marque's specified interval).
Power loss of less than 5% from post-Tuneup baseline (within normal measurement variance).
The diagnostic gate
If the 10,000 km dynamometer test shows a power loss, we run a diagnostic to determine root cause before any work is performed:
If the root cause is within the Tuneup scope — carbon return, injector re-fouling, oil degradation — the remediation is covered. No charge.
If the root cause is external — any of the exclusions above — we share the diagnostic findings with you, charge a fair diagnostic fee, and quote the necessary repair separately. You decide whether to proceed.
This procedural gate ensures the Programme remains genuinely free for the failures we are accountable for, and sustainable for both parties over the long term.
Your Royal Dossier
Each oil analysis report from the UK laboratory becomes part of your vehicle's permanent Royal Dossier — yours to keep, and a documented service history that supports resale value when the time comes.
